SOUNDBELLOWS EVOLUTION
Material
Both generations of Soundbellows are made from high-quality certified plastics. The reeds are specially designed for this extraordinary stress. While the reeds of the 1st generation is bent in a few cases, the reeds of the 2nd generation did not break while our testings! Nevertheless, it is always recommended to pay attention to the correct playing technique!
Dimensions
The 2nd generation has increased in volume and size compared to the 1st generation. With 635 ml instead of 150 ml, it holds more than four times as much air and is almost twice as high and wide as the small sound bellows.
Specialities
While the tonehead is firmly glued in the 1st generation, a replaceable one has been implemented for the Soundbellows Jumbos for sustainability reasons. The 2nd generation supports differentiated playing with a comfortable hand strap and an extra valve at the bottom of every Soundbellows Jumbo.
Tonal length
Due to the large volume difference, you can play notes up to 5 seconds with the 2nd generation, the Jumbos. The small sound bellows can do it in about 1-2 seconds.
Playing technique
The thin and flexible Soundbellows allows all age groups to play Soundbellows lightly and intuitive. The thicker and stiffer body of the small Soundbellows is a bit more difficult to play.
Application possibilities
The 1st smaller generation is recommended for a group of 8-55 years old, in schools and workshops. The 2nd generation can be used from 2-99 years in all types of schools, kindergarten, music therapy and professional music.
Set variants
The 1st generation Soundbellows are in a basic octave (C2-C3). The second generation, the Jumbos, are available in a low octave (C1-C2) and a high octave (C2-C3).
